FLIGHT SIMULATOR

  • We have two flight simulators available, both come with motion technology, which is a first for flight schools in SA.

  • Simulators replicate the following aircraft: Beechcraft B1900, Piper Warrior P28A 161 and the Piper Seneca PA34.

  • The dual controls of the MCX allow an instructor, instructor-in-training, or co-pilot to perform maneuvers from the right seat.

  • MCX includes a dual, control-loading yoke system and dual rudder pedals for simultaneous pilot and copilot control.

  • The Redbird MCX comes equipped with our innovative, 3-axis, electric motion platform.

  • With a world-wide terrain database to support the 200° visuals, the MCX lets you experience the view from the cockpit before you ever leave the ground.

EMERGENCY SERVICES

  • We are fully equipped with an ambulance and fire truck, in the unlikely event of an emergency we are well prepared.

ATC TOWER

  • Exposure to air traffic control services.

  • Students are able to practice ATC clearance readbacks.

  • Readback practice includes advanced radio work that you truly only get to experience in a real world scenario.

CLASS ROOMS

  • State of the art classrooms, fully equipped with high performance PC's and all software needed to perform duties.

  • Built and designed for student efficiency and comfort in mind, our facilities allows for all distractions to be controlled and make for the ideal environment for students to effectively learn, study and practice.

  • 70" TV used for presentations.

RADIO COURSE FACILITY

  • State of the art Radio Course Training Facility on campus features the latest technology and standards. To ensure our students stay up to date.

  • Dedicated class room with cockpit simulation station, that allows students to 'fly' through all airspaces whilst on the Radio course.

ACCOMODATION

  • On site accomodation is available for up to 15 students at any given time. Allowing for even more versatility and convenience should you live out of province.

  • Accommodation also features a fully equipped kitchen that caters for all daily meals for our students.

  • This is not a self-catering facility but all meals will be catered for.
